The interactive social processes, that began with the First Industrial Revolution which definitely had been fed by earlier formations, have differentiated the forms of both living and production, also individual and social relations. With this differentiation every kind of living/non-living things have become interactive to each other. The multiplication of scientific knowledge, development of interdisciplinary specialization, cooperation and technological opportunities played an important role in constituting of this interactive enviroment. Interdisciplinary interactions have been brought to upper level within the age of information and technology which is also known as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, likewise the rigid and immutable boundaries of the fields of knowledge and expertise have become unclear.
The discipline of architecture is also directly influenced by the social changes and interdisciplinary constructs due to its multifaceted nature. This effect is undoubtedly echoed on production of space and experience of space. One of the foremost depictors of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is the inclusion of information and communication Technologies in all systems and the coexistance of the physical and the virtual items in every field. These Technologies, which alter the physical meaning of space, transformed the existing knowledge of space with the social processes they have exposed to and come up for discussion of the concept of border both conceptually and physically.
The primary aim of this study is to probe the concepts of boundary and interaction from a frame fed from different disciplines in a multi-faceted way by the time. With this aim, the concepts of boundary and interactions will be discussed mainly, through the power of information and communication Technologies to transform the boundaries of physical space and time.
