Türkiye’de Geleneksel Ahşap Ev Yapı Sistemlerinin İrdelenerek Gruplandırılmasına Yönelik Bir Değerlendirme

Abstract

In this research, in general, the structural system of mid,18th and early 20th century houses, which are the products of mild and rainy regions covered with trees, are studied. The structural system, formed with different regional characteristics of every region and wooden material availability is examined from foundation to roof by forming “building structures” to identify the general structural installation characteristics. In line with the findings, in general, the wooden skeleton system arranged on masonary ground walls shows some variations and, are named according to their wall structure. Other than Istanbul houses as capital city products, and other influenced houses in the surrounding region, wooden houses are constructed as skeleton structures with fillings. By grouping the region with similar structural systems, structural system region are formed.
