Toplu Konut Çevresi Açık Alanlarda Genç ve Yetişkin Kullanıcıların Mekansal Kalite Tercihleri ve Yenilikçi Yaklaşımlar

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the quality criteria and the expectations of young users from open spaces of the mass housing environment in the cities which have recently undergone a change of appearance in terms of construction, such as Istanbul. The expectation of young users from open spaces in their residential area has been changed with the effects of change in the comprehension of housing environment which has been reshaped due to global changes and redefined in terms of physical and social aspects. In this study, it is aimed to investigate this new trends of young users with the help of current data. For this purpose, questionnaires made with the mass of users between the ages of 18-35 and field observations constitute the main material of the research. As a result of analysis and synthesis of obtained data, it is attempted to put forward possible innovative approaches for the planning and design of open spaces around residential environment.
