Okul Bahçelerinin Planlama ve Tasarım Standartlarının Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Rapidly developing social and technological changes are increasing the need for education. School gardens, defined as “the outer periphery of schools,” are important places that contribute to the healthy development of children’s physical, mental and social relationships. However, the availability of these spaces depends on the quantity and quality of these areas that should fulfill students’ needs. In this study, the planning and design criteria of school gardens were analyzed in terms of national, international and scientific standards, field and spatial uses and the adequacy of the equipment were evaluated, planning-design standards were given and recommendations were developed.
